Benefits of Facebook Business Suite For Online Marketing

Benefits-of-Facebook-Business-Suite-For-Online-Marketing

In September of 2020, Facebook began to launch a new business management platform; Facebook Business Suite. According to the Facebook for Business blog, Facebook Business Suite is “a single place across mobile and desktop for businesses to access the tools they need to thrive across Instagram and Facebook.”

Facebook for Business also describes it as a platform that allows you to “manage all your activities in one place, giving you time back to focus on other aspects of your business.”

So, what else do you need to know about the all-new Suite platform, and how can digital businesses leverage it to maximize returns? Let’s begin with the basics and then the benefits of Facebook Business Suite.

What’s Facebook Business Suite?

The new Business Suite allows businesses to publish simultaneously on Facebook and Instagram. It also allows you to manage and receive notifications, messages, and alerts in a single location. Additionally, the Suite interface provides direct access to engagement metrics. Instagram and Facebook each get an “Insights” tab where you can find their relevant metrics.

In short, the platform currently has four key capabilities;

  • Posting
  • Messaging
  • Insights
  • Advertising

It’s worth noting, however, that the Business Suite platform isn’t meant only for those using Ads Manager for digital advertising. Anyone who uses Facebook for Business is able to use the new platform.

The new tool was created by Facebook’s desire to help digital entrepreneurs and marketers become more productive on their platforms. Research shows that business owners want better operations across various Facebook apps, but they are time-consuming. Facebook Business Suite eases some of the administrative and management burdens, allowing you to spend more time attending to your business.

Benefits of Facebook Business Suite for Digital Marketers

Over the next few months, digital marketers will undoubtedly be joining the platform. The following reasons are why you should consider joining for your business.

  • Find and manage all your updates in one place

If you run business campaigns on either Facebook or Instagram, you’ll have noticed that staying on top of updates can be time-consuming. Especially when you need to switch back and forth between tabs and platforms. Facebook Business Suite brings all your updates (messages, notifications, comments, etc.) from both Facebook and Instagram to one place for easy tracking and management.

  • Share across Facebook and Instagram from one place

Publishing can be another time-intensive task when operating multiple Facebook accounts. This is even worse if you use both Facebook and Instagram. Brands and marketers often turn to third-party tools to publish on multiple platforms simultaneously. Now, you don’t need to go through that. Facebook Business Suite allows you to easily publish across all Facebook and Instagram accounts from one location. You can publish in real-time or schedule posts to publish later.

  • Access all valuable insights from a single location

This, too, should make your work easier. Rather than visiting each account separately to look at your insights, you can now pull all useful insights into a single dashboard. Better still, Facebook Business Suite features separate dedicated insight tabs for Facebook and Instagram. The metrics you can track from each insight tab include reach, engagement, and post-performance.

How to Get Started

For desktop users, log into the Facebook account associated with your business. If you’re currently eligible, you’ll automatically be redirected to Facebook Business Suite. On mobile, if you already use the Pages Manager App, you’ll automatically see an option to opt into Facebook Business Suite. Otherwise, visit the iOS or Android app store to download the Facebook Business Suite app.
